Youth Hostel: YHA London Central

Great Place to Stay

I’m glad my daughter’s first hostel experience was so memorable.  She shared a room with her friend and two other guests.  The rooms were neat and tidy and the staff warm and friendly. I asked how much she paid; I was shocked at how reasonable it was. She paid $200 for  7 days, that’s simply marvelous !

Hostelworld says…

YHA London Central is often mentioned by our guests as having ‘exceptionally pleasant and helpful’ staff who offer ‘good service’ and a wide knowledge of London. Hostelworld users also frequently praise this hostel’s ‘modern and clean’ rooms, with one review comparing it to a ‘well above-average hotel’. We like their 24hr café – perfect if you want to grab some breakfast before catching an early-morning train.

My daughter really went to England to celebrate her grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary and invited her best friend along.  This was Kachina’s first trip across the Atlantic and she truly enjoyed every bit of it.

I’m sure the girls will remember this adventure for years to come, perhaps they will re-live adventure on their 60th “Friendship Anniversary” !

The girls got to celebrate, tour and experience London on their own for a week, thanks to the affordable hostel in London.

The grandparents live in Leicester, which is about a 100 miles north of London.
