To engage the reader the writer has to understand typography and the importance it plays.

I was thoroughly engaged visually with this web-based book: Butterick’s Practical Typography, by type designer Matthew Butterick, the author of the award-winning book Typography for Lawyers (Matthew himself a lawyer in southern California.)
